Who is Sidibe?

Singer, songwriter, and musician Sidibe has been recognized for the singular tones and vibrations of her five-octave vocal range, and her ability to weave effortlessly through a myriad of music genres. With roots in Louisiana and Senegal, and currently based in Los Angeles, her romantic musings combine classic R&B sounds with contemporary Pop elements. She has served as executive producer on all of her music releases and has an extensive collaborative relationship with writer/producers Nico Stadi (Justin Beiber, Jason Derulo, Ne-Yo) and Warryn Campbell (Musiq Soulchild, Kanye West, Angie Stone) which has produced three EPs, an international full length album release, and several film & tv sync placements. Prince handpicked Sidibe’s “I’m Only Dreaming” as his “Purple Pick of the Week” in 2016, and her single “Unreachable” was featured on the 65th NOW That’s What I Call Music compilation released jointly by Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment in 2018. Her credits as a songwriter include Common’s “Raw (How You Like It)” and her voice is heard on Nas’ album Life Is Good. In preparation for her new project, the last year has been spent writing and recording new music, exploring the many facets of love and drawing inspiration from the complex dynamics of romance and relationship.

Complacent Love

Sidibe has been praised as “Sade of this generation”. That line was the inspiration behind this cover. A dark, mysterious, seductive - complacent love.

Reckless Abandon

Being vulnerable, being open, being close… Those emotions were considered during the design process, even typography feels personal, as if handwritten by the artist.
